Welcome to Club Hawthorn

Club Hawthorn is a private Club steeped in tradition and history.  From its humble beginnings in 1902 as The Hawthorn Cycling Club, the Club has grown out of necessity to accommodate a growing community and its own membership base.

Today, Club Hawthorn offers Members, guests, and the community a Club second to none.  With three squash courts, two 100 year old snooker tables, rooms that can cater for 20-100+ guests for a function or business meetings, Members Lounge, Wine Club, Hawthorn Hackers golf group and a restaurant opened for lunch, there’s something for everyone.

The Club is very proud of its community benefits program.  Not only do we provide funds to charities including The Salvation Army, Fire Relief and from time to time other deserving community groups, we are also proud sponsors of up and coming junior sports stars through Foundation Boroondara.  This is a very exciting project for the Club.

In addition, we also sponsor other local sporting groups including Soccer, Football, Cricket and a Cycling Club who have all made Club Hawthorn their home.
